Pulsar Digex C50 with X940S IR
Pulsar Digex C50 with X940S IR
This latest innovation from Pulsar is a night vision binocular that can be used day and night. The possibility to set the viewer in a day and night mode in both color and black and white ensures that you need a secondary viewer not more. You can then use these night vision binoculars in all circumstances.
Of course, these night vision goggles come into their own when it gets dark, we tested this Pulsar Digex C50 and even without the infrared lamp, targets up to 350 meters can be seen very clearly.
As soon as the night vision goggles are used in combination with the infrared lamp, the view becomes even clearer. The infrared lamp is sufficiently strong to emit a clear beam of infrared light up to a distance of 500 meters.
Battery life of up to 10 hours
The night vision viewer has one fixed built-in battery and one battery that is exchangeable, these batteries together ensure that you have a battery life of up to 10 hours. The infrared lamp that is supplied is equipped with a plastic mounting bracket that does not damage the night vision binoculars.
The infrared lamp can easily be mounted in different positions on the 30mm tube of the night vision goggles and the position of the beam on the target can also be adjusted separately on the lamp.
The battery of the infrared lamp is also the same as that of the night vision binoculars, so you can use them interchangeably. The wavelength of the infrared lamp is 940 Nm and not visible to animals, especially the fox is very sensitive to infrared light, but that is a thing of the past with this lamp.
Sensor Resolution 1928x1088
The sensor of the night vision binoculars is located on the front, this sensor is a major determining factor in the quality of the image. The Full HD sensor with a resolution of 1928x1088 pixels is a major improvement over the previous Pulsar night vision goggle models. The quality in both day and night mode has been significantly improved.
The display you are looking at is an AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1024x768 which gives an unparalleled beautiful image in which the smallest details are visible. Even when zooming in on the rifle scope, the image remains beautiful because of the high quality of the sensor and screen.
Recticles
In the menu of the Pulsar Digex C50 you can choose from 10 different types of reticles. Inserting the night vision scope is quite simple and you can complete it with 2 or 3 shots. It is also possible to enter different distances. Of course, a WiFi connection is not missing with the Pulsar Digex C50, with this you can connect to the Yukon Stream Vision 2 so that you can use the cloud storage of films and videos and change various settings.
